This weekend you have the opportunity to take part in Event #1 of KZNs latest Obstacle Course Racing Series which is conveniently situated in the beautiful Valley of 1000 Hills and centrally accessible to both Pietermaritzburg and Durban.
The organisers of WATERRA have combined the wonderful African landscape with obstacles to create a unique event. Those up to the challenge can tackle the gruelling 12km “Heroes for a Day” course featuring over 30 obstacles and if that sounds too far there is the easier 6km “Heroes in Training” route offering over 20 obstacles. Either way you are guaranteed to get muddy and wet while experiencing the beauty of the surrounding terrain. There is a specially constructed “Juniya Heroes” course where youngsters can safely experience the fun of obstacle course racing. You may enter individually or if you feel you need help and motivation, you may enter as a team of up to 8 people.
So, speak to your workmates or gym buddies and come experience an African adventure. All entries receive medals, there will also be food and drink vendors on the day.
Pre entries close at midnight on the 19th October. Late entries are accepted on the day. Please visit our website www.waterra.co.za or enter with ROAG. Like us on FACEBOOK and follow us on Twitter @waterra_ocr . Don’t miss this one, it’s going to be epic!
